Building Performance Database

Building Performance Database

Collaborated to develop a new user interface and data graphics for the largest existing building energy use database. Single custom or pre-defined data sets can be set up for benchmarking purposes, and two data sets can also be compared for deeper investigations. Collaborative Partners – LBNL, DOE and Earth Advantage

AIA2030DDx

AIA2030DDx

Collaborated to design and develop this innovative tool and platform with AIA and DOE. The Architecture Firms that are part of the AIA 2030 Commitment program can now easily bring their portfolios online and add to the one-of-a-kind database of design energy performance data. Collaborative Partners – AIA, DOE, LBNL

2030 Small Commercial Toolkit

2030 Small Commercial Toolkit

An integrated on-line platform of new and existing tools for deep energy retrofits for the small commercial sector. The toolkit enables performance analysis from the whole building level to lighting and plug loads and down to individual HVAC components. Collaborative Partners – LBNL, Architecture 2030, and DOE

Integrated Building Design and Ops

Integrated Building Design and Ops

A research project evaluating gap, barriers and how the state of California can scale "Zero Net Energy Design" for new construction to achieve the goal of ALL new projects achieving ZNE by 2030.

USC-DMSB

USC-DMSB

Sustainable IQ headed the the DOE technical assistance team for the Darla Moore School of Business. The LEED Platinum project was initially targeting Zero Net Energy Ready, and achieved greater than 50% energy savings compared to ASHRAE 90.1.

MIT Stata Center and Data Center

MIT Stata Center and Data Center

Sustainable IQ headed the DOE technical assistance team for this Commercial Building Partnership project. The two buildings pursued deep energy retrofits.

Codman Sq. Academy + Health Center

Codman Sq. Academy + Health Center

A unique mixed use project of a charter school and a health center that was the first LEED project in one of the poorest areas in Boston. A foundation challenged the project team to achieve LEED Gold. Sustainable IQ enabled and facilitated the LEED process and guided the project to achieve the LEED Gold goal!
